IoT Monitoring Application for Intelligent Plant
This project was a collaboration between Intelligent Plant and the University of Nottingham.
Project Overview
The application monitored industrial plants such as oil rigs that collaborate with Intelligent Plant for data analysis. Initially, we build the project for an oil rig on the north sea.
Functionality
- Monitor Energy and Fuel Consumption for different machines of the plant.
- Monitor Energy and Fuel Consumption for the entire plant.
- Flag up any machines that are currently underperforming (in terms of power-consumption to output).
- Flag up any machines that using an abnormal amount of energy.
- Predict fuel usage for the next year based on previous data using regression.
The application was built using C# and React, and leverage APIs to obatin real-time and historical IoT datasets
